Editorial Policy

How we research, review, update, and correct content on AssGoodAsGold.

What We Publish

AssGoodAsGold focuses on glute training, lower-body exercise technique, recovery, supplements, and gear. Our goal is to turn complicated training and product decisions into practical, readable guidance without exaggerating certainty or inventing claims.

How We Research Articles

We prioritize peer-reviewed research, position stands, and primary-source material when making claims about exercise science, hypertrophy, recovery, and supplements. When the evidence is mixed or limited, we say so plainly.

We aim to translate evidence into the kinds of choices a real lifter has to make: exercise selection, programming tradeoffs, equipment choices, and what matters most in practice.

How We Handle Product Recommendations

We try to recommend products only when they materially support the topic of the page. On informational articles, products may be mentioned as examples rather than required purchases. On dedicated gear and review pages, we make it clearer when a page is about evaluating products.

Affiliate relationships do not determine rankings or recommendations. If a product has meaningful drawbacks, we aim to state them directly.

Updates and Corrections

We revisit pages when evidence changes, product availability shifts, or a page can be made clearer or more accurate. When practical, we update publication metadata so readers can see when a page was last reviewed.

If you spot an error, outdated claim, or broken recommendation, contact us and we will review it. Accuracy matters more than preserving an old take.

Medical and Professional Limits

Our content is educational and should not replace individualized medical, nutrition, or rehabilitation advice. For that, see our Disclaimer.
